In the 17th century, these noble lands were bequeathed by Jean de Martigny, the king's advisor, to Jean-Paul Loret, and it later became the property of Baron Haussmann. Laurent and Sophie Cisneros took over this 46-hectare vineyard in 2010. This self-taught man, a former footballer alongside Zinédine Zidane, completely committed to getting this estate on the right track and ensuring it received the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification [High Environmental Value]. He was then advised by Eric Boissenot, oenologist of most of the largest Médoc estates, such as Château Lafitte-Rothschild.

    Tasting notes

We find in this wine all the subtlety of the great soils of gravel and pebbles from which it comes. Dense, silky and delicious, with a bouquet of liquorice and blackberry preserve, it intensifies with a blend of clove, raspberry and truffle. It makes a well-rounded attack on the palate, ample and energetic, structured by gorgeous, well-integrated tannins.
