    Recipe for easy lamb tajine with prunes (serves 4): Ingredients: 500 g of boned lamb (shoulder, saddle, etc.), 1 large onion, 250 g of pitted prunes (25 % moisture), 1 tbs. of honey. Preparation time: 10 min./Cooking time: 25 min. 1. Dice the meat into 3 x 3 cm chunks, removing the layers of fat and any large nerves. 2. Brown the pieces of meat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the chopped onion over a high heat in a deep casserole dish for 10 minutes. 3. Add half the jar of Easy Tajine Sauce and the prunes and stir for 1 minute. Add half a litre of water and 1 tablespoon of honey. Cover and leave to simmer over a low heat for 10 minutes. 4. Add the rest of the Easy Tajine Sauce and cook with the lid on for another 5 minutes. Dinner is served! Perfect with semolina. You can also add a handful of whole almonds as you finish cooking. Recipe for Easy Olive-Lemon Chicken Tajine (serves 4-6 people): Ingredients: 6 chicken thighs, 1 onion, 4 potatoes, 4 carrots, 5 LE COQ NOIR Beldi lemons, 2 handfuls of large green or purple olives. Preparation time: 20 min./Cooking time: 30 min. 1. Brown the chicken thighs with 1 tablespoon of oil in a hot casserole dish over a high flame for 7 minutes. Stir. 2. Add the finely sliced onion. Stir and cook for 5 minutes. 3. Add the peeled and chopped vegetables (2 x 3 cm pieces), the quartered Beldi lemons and the olives. Stir for another 5 minutes over a high flame. 4. Add half the jar of Easy Tajine Sauce and 75 cl of water. Stir. Cover and leave to simmer over a low flame for 25 minutes. 5. Add the rest of the jar. Stir. Cook for another 5 minutes with the lid on. Dinner is served! Perfect with semolina. Tajine tips: If you’d like to spice up your tajine, accompany with LE COQ NOIR harissa, either added to the stock or served on the side of the plate.
