For this Valentine’s, love is in the air at La Grande Épicerie de Paris. Discover our selection of creations for two, to mark this amorous occasion, available in both our stores from 6th to 19th February.
Our chefs have enjoyed concocting a romantic Valentine’s savoury menu which includes two luxury tarts of your choice, scallop brochettes served with green vegetables and roasted sweet potato with white truffle-infused olive oil.
Some classic recipes have been revisited and shaped into hearts, including Financiers à la Framboise, baguettes as well as butter and chocolate shortbread biscuits.
And to finish your intimate dinner in style, our chefs have created two exceptional desserts:
Le Petit Cœur: This heart-shaped dessert, for the first time, can be personalised at our stand on the day itself, 14th February.
A passionate red veil conceals milk chocolate ganache, a thin layer of caramel with shards of peanut, all coated with a delicate layer of chocolate.
À Deux C’est Mieux: A delight for two to share, composed of a crunchy raspberry shortbread base, vanilla mousse and a peppery vanilla cream with a biscuit spoon insert. This is topped with a caramel and raspberry chocolate coulant and a raspberry compote and ganache.
Our experts have selected some gourmet delights to bestow upon the one you love. In store, discover our delicious hearts including miniature biscuits (almond hazelnut praline) from Daniel Mercier, chocolate-coated praline heart selection boxes from Monbana and not to mention the wonderful retro sweet jars from les Gourmandises de Sophie.
And because nothing is too much when it comes to love, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is offering a special selection of freshly cut floral bouquets, available in both our stores.
