Discover our chefs’ new creations!

 

Did you know…? Twice a year the chefs of La Grande Épicerie de Paris create a new savoury and sweet collection, reflecting the seasons and showcasing the fruit and vegetables of the moment.
Discover their new recipes, made in sit at our laboratories in the Rue de Sèvres and as of now available in our two stores*.

At the Patisserie:

start Autumn on a tasty note with our selection of emblematic pastries, like our éclair filled with pistachio cream or our generous rum baba.
Timeless classic, our Mont-Blanc is available this year in a fruit version. Be surprised by the balance of flavours, marrying crisp meringue, Corsiglia chestnut creAt the gastronomy: (available only at La Grande Épicerie Rive Gauche) At our gastronomy aisle, our chefs propose a new savoury tart made by four hands. Every morning, our bakers create its delicate, crisp pastry, which is then garnished by our cooks with figs and fondant goat’s cheese. From November, the tart changes flavours, showcasing the 3 fruits and vegetables of the season: squashes, oranges and Chanterelle mushrooms. A real pleasure for the eye and the palate, our parsnip and butternut quiche is also prepared by them daily. Its large size allows the flavours better to diffuse during cooking. At the bakery:

Our bakery stand turns out comforting recipes to confront the chill days of Autumn. Be tempted by one of our loaves garnished with mushrooms and Espelette chili or our generous fougasses with mushroom and artichoke or chorizo and Comte cheese.
On the sweet side, our chefs have chosen to work with a classic of our childhood, the chocolate lava cake with Piedmont hazelnuts, renowned for their unique flavour.
Wanting to offer you quality products, our chefs carefully select all the raw ingredients. Their new organic country bread is thus made with 3 stone-ground flours, a technique known to preserve the maximum flavour and nutrition.

At the take-away:

Our chefs have rivalled one other when it comes to ingeniousness to make of each meal a moment of pure delectation. Find their seasonal compositions on the shelves, from spelt salad, hummus with beetroot, carrot and red cabbage and their Thai chicken poke bowl.
Our range of sandwiches is also enriched by two new recipes reflecting the great classics of French cuisine: the roast beef and mayonnaise baguette and the Grand Pain sandwich with ham and Comte cheese.
