From 31st January to 10th March, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is putting the spotlight on our chefs working in the kitchen laboratories, covering 2,000m2, in la rue de Sèvres. Every day, their hands are responsible for shaping thousands of cakes, pastries and savoury creations that then reach the shelves of our bakery, pastry and delicatessen stands. From kneading bread to frosting desserts to preparing fillings ... Under their meticulous care, everything is prepared on site with passion, generosity and outstanding expertise.

MEET OUR CHEFS
Thibault Leroy, Pastry Chef
Head of a team of 23 pâtissiers, our chef, Thibault loves to revisit iconic French recipes, putting a key accent on flavour. Each day, he and his team produce a collection of over 18 different pastries, ranging from classics like Saint-Honoré to their latest seasonal creations.
Jérémie Valdes, Gourmet Chef
Every morning, Chef, Jérémie and his brigade set to work preparing savoury delights for our “Cuisine” and “A Emporter” stands. From roast meats to stir-fried vegetables, sandwiches and seasonal salads, they produce over 80 different recipes daily. Passionate about his work, he loves creating colourful dishes, seasoned to perfection.
Nicolas Queruel, Bakery Chef
A qualified baker, our chef Nicolas joined La Grande Épicerie de Paris 28 years ago. Supported by a team of 27, he makes our stand's breads and pastries, in addition to pie-crusts and rolls for La Table restaurant.
Did you know…? Our bakers are among the last Parisian chefs to make their own pains au chocolat and croissants, available in individual and miniature formats.
Cédric Erimée, chef at La Table
At our restaurant, La Table, on the 1st floor of La Grande Épicerie Rive Gauche, Chef Cédric Erimée and his team offer a generous and contemporary style of cuisine, focusing on seasonal produce.
