    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

    Recipe for Easy Fish Colombo (prawns, cod, salted cod, tuna) (serves 4): Ingredients: 1 onion, 2 aubergines, 4 white fish fillets. Preparation time: 10 min./Cooking time: 25 min. 1. Heat a casserole dish and brown the finely sliced onion with 1 tablespoon of oil over a high flame for 7 minutes. 2. Add a third of the Easy Colombo Sauce. Stir. 3. Wash and dice the aubergines into 2 x 2 cm cubes, then add to the casserole. Stir. Cook over a high flame for 3 minutes. Cover and simmer over a medium flame for 7 minutes. 4. Add another third of the Easy Colombo Sauce with half a litre of water. Stir. Cover and simmer over a low flame for 5 minutes. 5. Boil the fish separately for 5 minutes, then drain and add to the pot with the last third of the Easy Colombo Sauce and cook for 5 minutes. Dinner is served! Serve with rice. Recipe for Little Savoury Colombo Cakes (serves 8): Ingredients: 4 eggs, 15 cl of oil, 1 large pinch of powdered yeast, 200 g of fresh smoked bacon bits, 1 large onion, 1 handful of (Emmental) cheese cubes, 200 g of flour. Preparation time: 20 min./Cooking time: 30 min. 1 – Preheat your oven to 180 °C. 2 – Peel and finely chop the onion. 3 – Beat the eggs. Add the Easy Colombo Sauce, oil, flour and yeast. Stir just enough to obtain a homogeneous paste. Add the finely sliced onion, bacon and cheese and stir gently. 4 – Pour the mixture into 8 little silicone muffin moulds and place in a hot oven to cook for approximately 30 minutes. Serve warm as an evening appetiser or a starter on the go, accompanied by lettuce.
