For the Easter holidays, La Grande Épicerie de Paris is celebrating chocolate duos with gourmet creations in the form of two delightful eggs. This inseparable pair also feature as little figurines, dressed up for the celebrations and can be spotted nestled on top of our chefs’ cake creations. Chocolate bears, chocolate delights and chocolate bars are also keeping them company in our chocolate extravaganza!
Our selection of chocolate egg treasures to hide in the garden
Discover our selection of eggs, treats and other chocolate creations to hide around the garden. Among the stars are hen and bunny-shaped shortbread biscuits from Carlota’s, decorated eggs from master chocolatier, Chapon, and delights from La Biscuiterie de Provence, revealing delicious chocolate eggs under their shells. Our chefs’ Easter cake
For your Easter celebrations, our Head Patisserie Chef, Thibault Leroy has created a 100% chocolate cake using cocoa chocolate from Brazil and Jamaica and creating a range of different textures. The cocoa shortbread base is garnished with a duo of almond and milk chocolate ganaches. The centre conceals a hazelnut paste and a delicate layer of hazelnut biscuit. This is all covered with a nest made of milk chocolate in which nestle, two delightful eggs, as a little tribute to our figurines for this season.

Always open to talented collaborations, La Grande Épicerie de Paris has joined forces with Master Chocolatier, Christophe Roussel this season to create these chocolate duo figurines. These fun polka dot and striped egg designs with smooth and embossed textures are produced in Ghana 68 % dark chocolate and Madagascar 33 % milk chocolate, and are sure to grab the attention of little chocolate fans. Crisp and entirely irresistible.

To compile your Easter menu, our chefs suggest three ideas for starters and main dishes, produced by our team in our kitchen. Be inspired by their selection including Egg & Mushroom Mini Casseroles, Pigeon stuffed with Foie Gras and Grapes, and Traditional Leg of Lamb with Garlic and Thyme, accompanied by Cherry Tomatoes, Beans and Garlic. Among other gems, you can also discover our chocolate and hazelnut breads, not forgetting our cocoa baguette which makes an excellent accompaniment to oysters and foie gras.
